Showcasing an outstanding educational pedigree, Dr. Sigsbee Duck’s medical training officially began at the East Carolina University School of Medicine. Showing significant potential as a student, Dr. Duck successfully received his MD in 1981 and quickly began a general surgical internship at the University of Kentucky Medical Center. Excelling as an intern the same way he excelled as a student, Dr. Sigsbee Duck took his newfound skills to his next position as a resident in Otolaryngology at Emory University from 1982 to 1986, serving as chief resident in his last year. Since that time, Sigsbee Duck, M.D., has enjoyed being in private practice as an ENT Specialist.

Showing exceptional diligence in maintaining his position as an expert among his peers, Dr. Sigsbee Duck has been actively involved as a leader in numerous professional organizations and societies including the American Academy of Otolaryngic Allergy (AAOA), the American Academy of Otolaryngology-Head and Neck Surgery (AAO-HNS), and as the Vice President of the Western Section of the Triological Society in 2008.

In his spare time, Dr. Sigsbee Duck enjoys reading, playing golf, exercise and music. Dr. Duck is an experienced instrument rated pilot and takes great pleasure in flying. A proud supporter of his undergraduate school, Wake Forest University, Dr. Duck has served as a former president of the High Point, N.C., Chapter of the Wake Forest Alumni Association and is a big fan of Demon Deacon athletics.
